Obituary

The Lord took Deborah (Debbie) Kay Kent, 53, home on Sunday, March 6, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Services will be 2 pm Thursday, March 10 at Waco Memorial Park North Mausoleum Chapel with Dr. David Hardage officiating. Burial will follow in the Park. Visitation with family and friends will be from 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday, March 9 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.Deborah was born to James Thomas and Fern Evelyn Carter Moon on October 1, 1951 in Waco. She was a 1969 graduate of University High School. Debbie moved to Arlington in 1982 where she worked for the Dept. of Health & Human Services, then transferred to the Texas Workforce Commission where she retired after a total of 35 years of service to the state. She was a member of Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington.Preceding Deborah in death were her parents.Surviving Deborah are her daughter, Jennifer L. Hylton & husband Doug of Wylie; grandchildren, Ashleigh and Ethan Hylton; brothers, Rodney Moon & wife Phyllis of DeSoto and Mike Moon of Arlington; sister, Brenda Thomas & husband Phillip of Arlington; 2 nephews; and 2 nieces.Debbie was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
