Daniel Lewis Haley, 60, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in Waco, TX. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors on Sunday, April 30, 2017.Daniel was born August 22, 1956 to Forrest Lee and Thelma (Luse) Haley in Louisville, KY. He was a longtime resident of Waco. He worked as a construction contractor for 40 years, building up his own businesses. Daniel was a big family man and enjoyed spending time with his family, whether it be in his boat on the lake, the backyard playing volleyball or sitting around the dinner table laughing.He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Stephen Forrest Haley, and sister, Jeanne Ann Patterson.Daniel leaves behind to cherish his memories, sister, Joan Bynum of Mexia; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
