Cody Jason Litteken, 51, of Meridian passed away on April 7, 2021, in Waco.

Cody was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Edward Dee and Dixie (Posey) Litteken on September 2, 1969. Cody graduated from Clifton High School in 1987, Hill Jr College in 1989 with a degree in paint and body and graduated from Tarleton State University Law Enforcement Academy in 1997. He worked at various jobs as a Ranch Foreman, Bosque County Sheriff Deputy and in Auto Repair. He loved his sons Colt and Wyatt more than anything; and spent time with them, family, and friends. Cody enjoyed spending time coaching Colt and Wyatt's little league football and baseball teams, outside hunting, fishing, camping, restoring vehicles and shooting guns. He enjoyed kidding around and joking with you or playing tricks on you. His cooking was always better than yours.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Edward Anton and Margarette J Litteken of Wichita Falls, TX and H B and Mildred Posey of Bowie, TX.

Cody is survived by his son's Cody Wyatt Litteken and Jason Colt Litteken both of Meridian; parents, Edward Dee and Dixie (Posey) Litteken of Scotland; sister, Kelli Dee Dreyer and husband Stanley of Clifton; niece, Holly Dee and husband Corey Roten, great nephews Easton and Corbin of Killeen; nephew, James William Dreyer and wife Courtney, great niece Iva James of Fairfield; Former wife/mother of Cody's children, Karen (Howard) Walsleben and husband Terry of Clifton.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Bosque Bottoms Pavilion (next to Meridian Civic Center), 314 River Street in Meridian from 1-3 pm.
