Clemente A. MontoyaNovember 23, 1932 – September 28, 2010 Clemente Alonzo Montoya, 77, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 4, 2010 at St. Francis Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, October 2, 2010 and 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. Clemente was born November 23, 1932 in Asa, Texas to Santos and Antonia Alonzo Montoya. He worked as a laborer in Speegleville. He later moved his family to Waco, and retired from LL Sams Inc. after working there for 24 years. Clemente was preceded in death by his loving wife, Fidencia Montoya; parents, Santos and Antonia Montoya; and four brothers. Those left behind to cherish Clemente's memory are his loving daughters, Cruz Montoya, Caustula Rodriguez and husband, Faustino, Ester Tobias and husband, Rudy, Margarita Martinez and husband, Eddie, Maria Santos Sims and husband, William; six sisters; four brothers; eight grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. The pallbearers will be the eight grandchildren, Savannah, Jesse Jr., Steven, Jonathan, Cassarah, David, Samantha and Miranda.
