Christine McLearen, age 83, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Waco. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2016 at Connally Compton Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Connally Compton Chapel with Pastor Deryl LeBlanc officiating and interment to follow in Waco Memorial Park. Christine was born December 12, 1932 to Elmer and Addie McAlister Hunt Brunson in Waco, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Henry McLearen.Christine leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughters, Lela McLearen and husband Monroe White of Waco, Rhonda Sims and Husband, James of Port Aransas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Brunson, Sr. and Karin of Waco; a very special friend, Shirley Meritt of Waco; and many extended family members.
