Charles "Lucas" Melendez, 70, passed away September 30, 2013.Graveside services will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., October 2, 2013 at Waco Memorial Park.A visitation with the family will be Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 6p.m. to 8 p.m., at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.Lucas was born January 18, 1943 to Louis and Amelia Melendez in Waco, Texas.He is preceded in death by his wife, Sally Melendez.Survivors include daughters, Linda Yanez and Connie Carpino; four brothers; one sister; three granddaughters and one grandson.
