Charlene Copaus, age 73, of Clarksville, Texas (formerly from Waco, Texas) went to be with her heavenly father on September 26, 2015. Viewing will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, at Connally-Compton Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 1, at Union Cemetery in Durango, Texas. She was born on September 29, 1941 to Jim and Fannie Pittman of Waco, Texas. Charlene always loved family get together's of all kinds, and had the biggest smiles and warmest hugs for all of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Turner; brothers, James and Orville Pittman; and son, Albert Williamson. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Joe Copaus; her son, Robert and Jessica Williamson of Mt. Vernon; stepson, Jodie Copaus of Pasadena, Texas; and daughter-in-law, Laurie Williamson of Conroe, Texas. Charlene had five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
