Mr. Boyd Bullock Hadaway, age 93, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 in Waco. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 2 PM at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Amos Humphries and burial to follow in Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2010. Boyd was born on June 16, 1918 to Herbert and Nora Hadaway in Kosse, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Waco. Boyd moved to Waco when he was seven years old. He served in the Army in Europe during World War II. Boyd retired in 1980 from Owens-Illinois Glass Company after 34 years of service. He devoted his remaining years to his family and his ranch in Crawford. Boyd was a member of Park Lake Drive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mable Hadaway. Boyd is survived by his daughter, Nancy; son, Boyd Jr., and daughter-in-law, Dana; granddaughter, Erin; and grandson, Ryan.
