Obituary

Bobbie Marmino, 67, of Laguna Park passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2006. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Sat., April 8, 2006 at China Spring Cemetery with the Rev. Stanley Adams officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Bobbie Laverne was born the only daughter of Colquitt and Ethel Atchison Blassingame in Waco on July 21, 1938. She worked in the NASA aircraft industry for the Dept. of the Defense and then retired as a nurse. Bobbie was a devoted mother and loving grandmother. She was a member of the New Deliverance Missionary Baptist Church Worship Center. Preceding Bobbie in death were her parents, Colley and Ethel Blassingame; husband, Michael James Marmino, Sr. on March 4, 1988; brothers, E.C., Colquitt, Jr., William and Joe Blassingame; and grandson, Rick Marmino. Surviving Bobbie are her sons, Michael Marmino and wife, Dianne of Sardis, MS, Ronald Marmino and wife, Brenda of Axtel, Anthony Marmino of Whitney, Gregory Marmino of China Spring, Ricky and Kevin Marmino, both of Laguna Park; grandchildren, Alicia Crawford, Michael, Jr., Shawn, Adam, Eric, Ronald, Jason, Jeremy, Melissa, Crystal, Jesse, Tony, Celina, Ricky, Bobby, Jamie, Dale, Krista, Elizabeth and Emily Marmino; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother Tommy Carroll Blassingame of Glendale, AZ. Pallbearers will be Chris, Jeremy, Jesse, Kevin, and Tony Marmino and John Bigham.
