Billye Nance, 81, of Waco went to be with her Lord on Wednesday. October 1,2003. Services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. Oct. 7 at First Baptist Church Woodway with the Rev. Frank Pollard officiating. Billye was born on August 19, 1922 in Big Spring to William D and Lalah Lucy Hull Todd. She married her sweetheart on December 7, 1941 having almost 62 years together. Her parents, and a sister, Joyce Skipalis, preceded her in death.Billye was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who supported and encouraged each family member. She was a partner with her husband as they served in the music ministry in several churches throughout Texas and New Mexico. In her latter years, she was a member of the Celebration singers at First Baptist Church, Woodway. She was a faithful member of and leader in the New Horizon Class at the church. Her gift, and passion, was sewing for her family. Billye's love for life and her wonderful sense of humor were exhibited when she got together with family and friends to fellowship and play table games.Surviving Billye are her husband, C. Wayne Nance of Waco, a son and his wife, Ken andPatty Nance of Denham Springs, LA; a daughter, Pam Mohundro of Waco three sisters.Frances Robinson of Napa, CA, Nelle Hopper of Stanton, and Peg Domenichelli of SouthSan Francisco, CA; five grandchildren, Zak Mohundro, Shelly Bossom and husbandCraig. Coby Mohundro, Cherilyn Nance and Allison Mohundro: and numerous niecesand nephews.Pallbearers will be Craig Bossom, Lance Hopper, Coby Mohundro, Zak Mohundro, TerryWelty, and Robert Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Jack Cash, Dink Hunnicutt, TomMcNatt, Charles Rich.
