Billie Ann Styron, 82, passed away November 25, 2015 in Frisco, Texas.Funeral service will be held Monday 1:00p.m., November 30, 2015 at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Events Room. Burial will follow in Waco Memorial Park.Billie Ann was born July 7, 1933 to E.P. and Inez Rogers in Cleburne, Texas at her grandmother's home. One of her unique accomplishments was entering North Texas State College at 17. She was a longtime member of the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program and the Red Hat Society. She taught Sunday School for many years and was a published author of Sunday School curriculum. Billie Ann was also a member of Crestview Church of Christ in Waco, Stafford Church of Christ in Stafford, and Westbury Church of Christ in Houston. Billie Ann was an accomplished seamstress and pianist. She enjoyed family genealogy and was very proud of her Cherokee heritage. Billie Ann loved all history and visited every court house in the state of Texas with her husband Charles, a Texas Surveyor. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Charles James Styron; brother, Richard Rogers and niece, Stacey Rogers.She is survived by her children, Deborah Styron, Geri Rosendahl, Kimberly Estes and husband Jay, and Charles Mark Styron and wife Chris; 8 grandchildren, Makala Hewgley, Josh Wright, Nicholas Rosendahl, Morgan Rosendahl, Madison Estes, Jack Styron, Alison Styron and Sydney Styron; 2 great-grandchildren, Lorali Hewgley and Zane Hewgley; sister, Pam Johnson; niece Jennifer Hayford, nephews, Duke Johnson and Rick Rogers; sister-in-law, Nita Hrach and husband Bill and their children, Lauren, Adam, Lexa, and Sally.Arrangements under the direction of Connally-Compton Funeral Directors, Waco, TX.
