Beverly Marceil 'Marci' Barletta was born March 9, 1940 in Corpus Christi, Texas to parents Ira Herbert and Holly (Brannan) Jones. She graduated from Premont High School in Premont, Texas,and attended Texas A & I College in Kingsville, Texas. Working for CPA firms, banks, insurance companies, management companies, and funeral homes has added much to her working career. Marci has been working in the funeral business as office manager for the past 20 years. She has worked for Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, Connally/Compton Funeral Directors and BrookView Funeral Home, all located in Waco, Texas. She always felt that working for a funeral home was the most rewarding of her working career because of being helpful to families.On a personal note, Marci has three grown children, Jeff, Keith and Kim (Bridger) Denton by her first husband Thomas Joe Denton. Later she married Francis Michael Barletta and he has three grown children, Michael, Julia (Hazel), and Michele (Thomas) Barletta. So, all together they have six children, and seven grandchildren, and proud of every one of them.Marci has a sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne and Robert Vera, who live in Garland, Texas. They have eight children and many grandchildren. Getting together with friends and family is most important to Marci, making sure everybody has a good time while visiting in her home. The grandchildren all have fun at her pool and love to stay weekends with MiMi and PaPa. She always says that 'Life is good'.
