Betty Tovar-Palacios, 80, passed away August 11, 2012. She was born in Newby, TX on August 24, 1931 to Guadalupe Bentura and Pauline Gonzales. She was preceded in death by Frank Bentura and Joe Tovar Jr. She is survived by sons, George, Rickey and Andrew; Daughters, Irene, Dolores, Isabell, and Emma; 27 Grandchildren; 40 Great-Grandchildren; 3 brothers, Louis, Fidal, and Dionicio; and 5 sisters, Susie, Chris, Theresa, Lupe, and Manuella. A visitation will be Wednesday, August 15, from 6:00-8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Services will be held Thursday, August 16 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Connally Compton Funeral Directors.The Family would like to give special thanks to the staff of St. Catherine's and Providence Hospice for their care and support.
