Betty Beyer RosenkranzAugust 10, 1930 ~ September 29, 2007 Betty Beyer Rosenkranz, 77, of Robinson, passed away at a local hospital on Saturday, September 29, 2007. Services will be 3 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Ron Long officiating. Visitation will be after the service until 5 p.m. A second service will take place at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 5, at Pineville, Cemetery in Pineville, AR with the Rev. Garland Skidmore officiating. Betty Gwendolyn was born the daughter of James Moore and Francis Maye Skidmore Scott on August 10, 1930 in Pineville, Arkansas. On June 19, 1992 she married Clarence Ray Rosenkranz. Betty retired from Plantation Foods in 2000 where she had worked as a security guard for many years. Prior to that she worked for Surgikos. Betty was a Baptist. After retirement Betty enjoyed baking and cooking for her family when she wasn't busy reading! However, she could always make time for her precious grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as MeMe or Granny. Preceding Betty in death were her parents; and brother, James Oscar Wyatt. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 15 years, Clarence Rosenkranz of Robinson; son, Billy Raye Boatman of Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Wanda Allen, Peggy Henderson and Brenda Rieger, all of Kansas; brothers, Joe Wyatt of Bexar, AR and Jackie Wyatt of Harrison, AR; sisters, Lena Faye Mitchell of Torrance, CA and Fern Boone of Junction City, KS; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
