Betty Jo Mash, 85, passed away in Whitney, Texas, April 20, 2014Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Old Perry Cemetery in Moody, Texas.The family will receive visitors from 5p to 7p, Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.Betty was born in El Paso, Texas March 8, 1929 to Lee and Annie Mae Clanton of Fort Worth, Texas. Betty was a member of Bosqueville Baptist Church when she went to heaven. She had 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Betty married Joe A. Mash, Jr. in 1947 and he predeceased her March of 1980. She is also predeceased by siblings, Helen who died of Pneumonia at 3 months, Bill Clanton of Cleburne, James Clanton of Dallas, Dowl Clanton of Fort Worth, Texas. Survivors include children, Charles Ray Mash of Sweetwater and Linda Sue Mash of Waco; grandchildren, Douglas Ray Mash of Whitney and Nadine Michelle Mash of Houston and Great grandchild, Rebecca of Whitney. She is also survived by siblings, Madge Lee Payne of Stephenville, Christene Lansford of Bridgeport and Donald Clanton and wife Rita of Waco.Arrangements under the direction of Connally-Compton Funeral Directors, Waco, TX.
