Betty Christine Doyle Lewis was born on July 16, 1919 in Wolfe City, Texas. She passed away on December 22, 2014 in Kingsland, Texas. Betty was a faithful member of Grace Temple Baptist Church, Waco, Texas for several years. She faithfully served at Waco High School and Richter Elementary school. Betty and husband, Derwood, founded Lewis Drive Inn in Pecos, Texas and operated there for 13 years.She is survived by her 3 adult children; David Dean Lewis and wife, Barbara, of Bastrop, Texas, Betty Sue Lewis Harris and husband, Ronny, of Lake Buchannan Dam, Texas and Gary Dale Lewis and wife, Kay, of Lantana, Texas, grandchildren; Eddie Harris, Dean Adams, David Harris and wife, Larissa, Derek Lewis and wife, Candy, Courtney Williams and husband, Ryan and Chase Lewis. Her great grandchildren Jheri Troy and husband, Adam, Toni Harris, DJ Harris, Hunter Lewis, Parker Lewis, Peyton Lewis, Tanner Williams and Ella Williams.Betty was preceded in death by Jay Doyle her father, Virgie Bibber Doyle Johnson her mother, Pauline Henry her sister, Derwood Lewis her husband and Christine Lewis her granddaughter.
