Betty R. Erebia, 75, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 15, at St. Francis Catholic Church with Rev. Roman Burgos officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday with Deacon Jessie Garza at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Mrs. Erebia was born August 5, 1933 in Waco, to Mateo and Dominga Sepulvada Rodriguez. A son, Joe Luis Cavazos, Jr. preceded her in death in 2007. Betty was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include three sons, Marcilio Cavazos, Jr., Guadalupe Cavazos, Sr. and Joe Erebia, all of Waco; four daughters, Mary Ellen Guardiola, Sandra Arias, Sylvia Navarro and Anita Medina, all of Waco; two sisters, Tina Martinez and husband Raymond of Waco; Ruby Galvez and husband George of Waco; 24 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Lorenzo Sardaneta, Leonardo Sardaneta, Richard Guardiola, Fred Guardiola, John Hurtado and David Mata. Honorary bearers will be Anthony Guardiola and Joe Erebia.
