Arthur Romo, 67, passed away at Providence Hospital January 19, 2014.A memorial service will be held 1pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4911 N Interstate Highway 35.A visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm, Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.Arthur was born April 9, 1946 to Arturo and Mary (Martinez) Romo in Waco, Texas. He worked at TSTC as a plumber for over 30 years and retired in 2008. Arthur was always willing to help people and was a very loving and caring husband. His wife and family were the light of his life. He loved the Texas Longhorns and would never miss watching the game on TV. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.Arthur is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Yolanda Romo.Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 33 years, Anita Romo; children, Tom Estrada and wife Maria, Pete Estrada, Sally Estrada, Ramiro Estrada and wife Janie and RoseAnn Vela; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Isabel (Romo) Goines and husband Charles Goines, Gloria (Romo) Fuentes and Husband Porfirio Fuentes, Jr., Aurora (Romo) Vigil and husband Jimmy and Christine (Romo) Espinsoa and brother, Adam Romo.Arrangements under the direction of Connally-Compton Funeral Directors, Waco, TX.
