Archie Curtis BrownMarch 21, 1925 - September 14, 2013 Archie Curtis Brown, 88, of Woodway, went to sleep in death on September 14, 2013, surrounded by his family.Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at the Riesel Cemetery. Archie was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, brother Ferman, granddaughter Shannon and his parents, Albert and Drusilla Brown.He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Edwards and husband Wayne, daughter DeiAnna Casiano, son Russell Brown and wife Mary Beth, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, brothers Bill and Gerald, and sisters Bonnie, Christine, and Mavoureen.Our special thanks to Providence Hospice staff, Benny and Judy, for their loving care and support. Also to Russell and Mary Beth for opening up their home to lovingly care for our dad and making him comfortable to the very end.
