Antonio "Tony" Garcia, 62, went to be with the Lord November 21, 2014.Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 26, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Augustine and Yolanda Romero officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.Tony was born in Waco, Texas July 31, 1952 to Pedro, Sr. and Louise R. Garcia. He worked for Century Saw and Tool for 18 years. Tony was a hard worker, a loving father, brother, cousin, friend and he loved his church family at New Life Praise Center very dearly.He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jimmy Garcia, who passed in 1995.Survivors include his children, Tony Garcia, Jr. and wife Geri and Latisha Dixon and husband Scott; grandchildren, Aaron, Alex'xus, Ryan, Talia, Connor and Logan; great grandchildren, Armani and Angelo; brothers, Pedro Garcia, Jr. and wife Frances, Lupe Garcia, Robert Garcia, and Marcus Garcia and wife Renee; and several other nieces, nephews and relatives.Pallbearers will be Joe Joe Alaniz, Felix Rivera, Chris Reyes, Louie Ramirez, Chris Garcia, Anthony Garcia and Mike Cabrera.Arrangements under the direction of Connally-Compton Funeral Directors, Waco, TX.
