Anna Ruth Schmid, 88, of Waco passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012 at a local hospital. Anna's most precious treasures were her Lord and her family.Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Schier; children, James Schier, Donald Glenn and Ruby Jean; and grandsons, Rodney and Terry.Anna is survived by her children, Lillie Brown (Larry), Marlane Hollingsworth (Charles), Jean Thurman (Wayne), Charlie Schier, and Larry Schier; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Lavonia Blessitt.Visitation will be Wednesday, August 15 from 6-8pm at Connally Compton Funeral Directors. A Funeral service will be on Thursday, August 16 at 1:30pm an Connally Compton.
