Ann F. (Cowart) Hurt, 91, of Waco, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Mrs. Hurt was born on December 11, 1931 in Lockney, Texas to A.D. and Cecil (Rosser) Cowart.

A visitation for Ann will be held Monday, May 29, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors, 4400 W Waco Dr, Waco, Texas 76710. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors with Pastor Jeremy Connell officiating.
Interment will follow in Waco Memorial Park.

Mrs. Hurt loved to crochet, work crossword puzzles, playing scrabble and watching the Texas Rangers but her true love was her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; L.H. 'Hank' Hurt in 1996 after 31 wonderful years of marriage, daughter; Gail Ingersol in 2018 and her sister; Sallie Ballard.

Survivors include her daughters; Jeanne Beals and her husband, Rusty and Kim Jones and husband, Jerry, sons; Doug Anderson, Mark Anderson and his wife, Roxie, Darrell Hurt and his wife, Jeanne, Greg Anderson and Paul Hurt, 25 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren (and 1 on the way), and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers include her grandsons: Chris, Wesley and Dustin Beals, Caleb Anderson, P.J. and Carter Hurt and Logan Koepf.
