Angela DuncanMay 30, 1936 ~ December 11, 2008 Angela Duncan, 72, passed away at her home right after midnight on Thursday, December 11, 2008 surrounded by her family. Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Dr. Rodney Kruse officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12, at the funeral home. Angela Edwina Peay was born on May 30, 1936 to Leslie Mae Pearl Woodle and Edward Peay in Danville, Virginia. Angela was the manager of Lake Air Self Storage for the past 16 years. She was involved with the Central Texas Doll Club with membership for 13 years and served as treasurer for the past five years. She lived to crochet, but also enjoyed knitting, sewing and quilting. Angela collected spoons, thimbles, salt & pepper shakers and of course, dolls! Preceding her in death were her parents; father of her four sons, Harold Hayes; husbands, William Spires, Charles Sparks and Glen Duncan; brother, Ronnie Peay; and sisters, Joan Evans and Donna Pinkerton. Left behind to cherish her memory are sons, Hal Hayes and wife, Katrien of Woodway, Ernest S. Hayes and husband, Scott Miller of Tucson, AZ, Dan Hayes and wife, Mari of Irvine, Calif., Roger Hayes and wife, Rose of Waco, and Randy Sparks and wife, Tammy of Jackson, KY; ten grandchildren, David Perone and wife, Stacy, Justin and Joshua Hayes, Amelia, John and Christi Sparks, Jennifer, Robert and Carol Anne Evans and Christopher Wier; great-grandchildren, Arionna and Sean Jones and Brooke Evans; and brother, Jerry Peay.
