Amanda Rose Bowden, age 93, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 in Waco, Texas. A Graveside service will be Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco.

Amanda was born on February 19, 1931 in Waco, Texas to Anthony Lester and Myrtle Paralee Condra Bledsoe. She was a longtime resident of Waco, Texas,


She is preceded in death by her parents Lester and Myrtle, and children Debra Forbes and Robert English Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Leach; son, Sam Fryar; grandchildren, Howard Forbes and wife Karrie, Jeremy Forbes and wife Kelli, Elizabeth Craven and husband Kevin, Mathew Adams and wife Veasna, Regan Sullins, Robert English and wife Megan; great grandchildren, Kaylee Forbes, Jamie Forbes, Noelle Forbes, Cody Orr, Allison Orr, Jamie Forbes, Makenzi Forbes, Angelica Adams, Sophia Adams, Brianna Adams, Zoie Sullins, Jameson Sullins, Sydney Sullins, Landon English, Aiden English, and Amelia English.
