Allen Wayne Bryant, 64, of Robinson, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2026.

Born on September 24, 1961, Allen lived a life defined by hard work, unwavering love for his family, and a sense of humor that could brighten any room. A longtime Tugboat Captain and fisherman, he spent much of his life on the water and carried with him a deep appreciation for the coastal life he grew up enjoying around Matagorda Bay.

Allen found joy in the simple things. He loved tending his garden, spending days at the beach, telling dad jokes, and sharing fish stories. He never met a meal he couldn't follow with his favorite phrase, "I gotta go get horizontal," usually on his way to a well-earned nap.

More than anything, Allen loved his family.

He was the devoted husband of Alesia, sharing a love and partnership that was admired by everyone who knew them. Their marriage was built on laughter, friendship, and unwavering devotion to each other.

He was a loving father to Brittany, Zachary, and Amy; and a proud and devoted grandfather to Emily, Bristol, and Tymon. His grandchildren were among the greatest joys of his life. They will forever remember the breakfasts he made, the stories he told, the laughter he shared, and the way he always made them feel special and loved.

Allen had a gift for showing love through acts of service. Whether it was preparing breakfast for the family, picking up pink sprinkle donuts for a visit, or sharing wisdom from years spent on the water. If you asked something of him, he found a way to make it happen; he made the people he knew feel cared for.

He is also survived by his sister and family, Darlene, Charlie Brown, Leann, Stacy, Sissy, Ronnie, Frankie, Deborah, Eldon, Becky, and so many other beloved family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Elvin Bryant; his sister, Christy; his niece, Holly; and his brother-in-law, Dennis.

Though our hearts are broken by his loss, we are grateful for the years we shared with him, the memories he gave us, and the example he set through a life well lived. His legacy lives on in the family he loved so fiercely, the stories that will continue to be told, and the countless lives that are better because he was part of them.

Allen will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
