Aileen Ashleman, 92, of Waco, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, March 3, 2014 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors with the Reverend Scott Spence officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemound Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, on Sunday, March 2nd at the funeral home.Mrs. Ashleman was born on January 28, 1922 in Waco, Texas to Herman and Louise Hoffmeyer. She was a member of Saint John United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Ashleman and 5 brothers and sisters.Survivors include her daughters, Doris Neumann and her husband, Ted of Lorena and Shirley Thomson and her husband, Bruce of Dallas, 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
