Travis Horne

October 26, 1942 — January 12, 2019

Travis Scott Horne, 76, of Tomball, Texas went to be with our Lord on January 12, 2019.

Scott is survived by his wife Paula of 10 years, sons David (Sabrina), Duane Horne (Tanessa) and step-daughter Lindsay Bagby (Noel Diaz), grandchildren Cody, Lexi, Tiffany, Ashlyn, Carson, Nicholas, and Nathan, Jilliana and brother Don. Scott was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone.

Scott loved sports, especially football, where his favorite teams were the Houston Texans, Houston Cougars and Baylor Bears. He served in the Army after attending Baylor University and later attended the University of Houston. He worked as a computer contractor for over 30 years. He spent his free time watching various sports games live and on TV. He also enjoyed fishing and caring for his dogs.

A special thank you to the people at Village Care Homes in Tomball and the caregivers from FirstLight Home Care for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Waco Memorial Funeral Home and Mausoleum for being very accommodating. A memorial service for Scott will be at the Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel on February 9, 2019 at 1pm where Scott will be laid to rest.  Donations can be made to the American Lung Association in honor of Scott.
