George Lowry

George Richard Lowry, 94, of Lorena, TX went to be with the Lord on August 9th, 2019.  Visitation will be 9am on August 13th and a Graveside service to follow at 10am at Chapel Hill  Memorial Park.

George was born February 13, 1925 in Spring Valley, Texas to John and Ruth (Reneau) Lowry. He married Mildred Louise Plemmons October 24, 1943.

George loved the outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt and garden. He also loved to dance which included dancing on skates, country dancing, clogging, square dancing and even round dancing.

George was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Lowry; wife Louise Lowry; sister Johnnie Crelia; brothers Tommy, Harold, Eldon, and Raymond Guy; grandchild Devin Lujan. He is survived by Gary and Darlene Lowry, Brenda Lowry, Tommy and Cathie Lowry, Laurie and Heath Taylor, Darla and Roland Torres, Shane and Lauri Lowry, Jeffrey and Carmina Lowry, Caine and Nikki Afinowicz , Candace and Raymond Latham and many great and great great grandchildren.
